Citing some legal reasons, the Republic of Turkey has  imposed a ban on Internet search giant Google. Many of  the services offered by Google such as translate.google.com,  books.google.com, Google-analytics.com, tools.google.com,  docs.google.com have been blocked in the country by related authorities.
The Telecommunications  Communications Presidency in an official statement has  announced the imposition of ban on Google Internet Protocol  addresses due to some legal reasons. Also, the duration of this  ban is still not clear.
Youtube.com is already  banned in the country for since May 5, 2008. The video content based  site is inaccessible in Turkey for containing some derogatory videos  related to Turkey's founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The  move has hit Internet users and industries the most leaving them with  pending net related works for an indefinite period of time. Many people  criticized the YouTube ban two years, arguing that it is illogical to  ban the whole site for a single video. Similar voices are rising with  this action of government.
