Software to hack Apple's iOS4

Bangalore: Software PwnageTool 4.01 has been designed by iphone Developer team to jailbreak and unlock the iPhones not long after Apple's iOS4's release.The new hacks support the official iOS4 releases but not the developer release issued at WWDC reports Jim Dalrymple of cnet.

There are certain warning associated with this release. The PwnageTool 4.01 will function thoroughly with an iPhone 3GS as long as it was formerly jailbroken with the old boot ROM without the use of the Spirit method. Pwange tool will not wrk if the 3GS has a new boot ROM. However a previously jailbroken iPhone 3G without the use of Spirit method will be able to make use of Pwange.



The Dev-Team revealed that at present the software does not support the iPhone 2G, iPod Touch and iPod Touch 3G.The team is currently working to solve this issue.

The baseband unlockers method allows the use of an iPhone on carries other than AT & T. The iPhone 3G and 3GS receive support from these unlockers.
