The Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) is organising a summer festival and a Taj Mahal set was put up for this purpose. The love poetry sammelan had a special visitor as the audience and hardly anyone knew about it.

Rajnikanth who is used to disguising himself and visiting public places and films sat at the poetry sammelan and enjoyed poet Vairamuthu's recital amidst hundreds of youth. He went dressed as an old man and none breathed out a word of his presence.
