STORY:
Gangaram is an orphan who dreams of becoming a police officer from  childhood days. Working in a tea café belonging to Babai (MS Narayana) in mornings, Gangaram attends night school to achieve his dream and with in no time Gangaram (Gopichand) becomes  SI of Madhapur PS. Young, dynamic and sincere Gangaram targets the Underworld Mafia and their activities in the city. With in three days of his SI appointment, Gangaram is elevated to an Encounter Specialist by DIG Bharath Nandan (Naazar).
Gangaram and his team of four cops start their ‘Golimaar’ for two Underworld gangs, first Talwar gang operating with in the city and second Khalid (Kelly Dorjee) gang operating from Malaysia. First few weeks Gangaram cleans up Talwar gang and plans to travel Kenya where Khalid is on a one day private trip. In parallel runs the love story of Pavitra (Priyamani), an event organizer with Gangaram while her mother Arundhathi (Roja) doesn’t accept their love.
Time when Gangaram is getting ready for Kenya, Police raid the house and prove his illegal contacts with Mafia and their extortion. Gangaram finds it very soon that he was trapped in the plan of Khalid and DIG Bharathnandan who used him as a tool to clean their Mafia opponent Talwar. An admanat Gangaram escapes from police and re-establishes himself as Gangu Bhai, the Mafia Don. How powerful would be the story when a strict police officer becomes an Underworld King is all the remaining part of Golimaar.
Plus & Minus:
The director has come up with a routine tale of violence and both the presentation and narrative were okay. The script was regular, the screenplay was not that engaging. Background score was good, one song was worthy. Cinematography was standard, not good nor bad either. Editing was crisp. Costumes were alright and art department was impressive. Gopichan did his bit as required and made his presence felt, Priyamani was voluptuous and gave the visual feast wherever required. Kelly Dorjee was classy, Nasser was natural, Mukhthar Khan was okay, Ali was not used to the fullest, Jeeva was brief.
New words like ‘Shantesthunnaadu, Dhumki Dena Padatha Hai and few more Tamil words’ gave a new feel. The way Puri used prostitutes in catching the Mafia members, the way hero uses SMS trick to get saved from encounter shows Puri worked out on new things..


Conclusion:
The fact that this story is inspired by an encounter specialist Daya Nayak makes it all the more interesting.The film is a commercial entertainer.,In single sentence, Puri Jagannath struggling for a hit can now get relaxed.

Flashback: Pavan Kalyans father is Bhanu chander. He was killed during pavan kalyans birth by the villians. They try to kill his mother too. His mother who is a 9 months pregnant escapes from the villains eyes. She goes and hides inside a well. Then there was a huge rain and the well begins to get filled with water. She delivers the child inside the water (this scene is copied from Apocalypto Movie). During Pavan Kalyans birth a tiger roars and the screen play team shows pavan kalyan crying with a tigers voice..Hence he is named as Puli (Tiger). By the way his surname is Komaram. So he is Komaram Puli.
Now back to the basics…i mean original story.
Komaram Puli grows up and becomes a commando. Then there are few romantic scenes between Hero Pawan and heroine Nikisha patel. Pawan Kalyan marries nikesha patel who is also a cop. There was a small quarell and just before climax… manoj bajpai’s men kill nikesha in her house.
Komaran Puli (కొమ్రం పులి) returns to home and sees his..

wife’s throat being cut and lying in house dead. He thinks he had to do something to the nation to prevent further any such incidents happening to the people around. కొమ్రం పులి ows to destroy manoj bajpai’s network in climax.
